Xutos & Pontapés is a portuguese rock band formed in 1978, becoming a reference to portuguese music for the high quality they managed all this years, with almost twenty albums. From the original band only Tim (who was then on the bass guitar) and Zé Pedro (on the guitar) are still on the band. In 1981 their original voice(Zé Leonel) left and Tim took the role and in 1983 bass player João Cabeleira joined them. The next year the sax player Gui who already played with them as a guest became a full member of Xutos e Pontapés.
